Who we are
Adoption Chats Sans Abri (ACSA) is a non-profit organization in Quebec City, located on Chemin de la Canardière in the Limoilou district. Our shelter’s primary mission is to take in homeless cats and to care for and socialize them with the aim of having them adopted.
Our organization has been helping the cat population since 1996!
ACSA also has a social mission since we raise public awareness about responsible adoption and the importance of sterilization. All our cats leave the shelter vaccinated, dewormed, sterilized and microchipped. In addition, cats that have been living outside are tested for FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia).
We are proud to be an ethical, no-kill shelter (except in the case of compassion euthanasia). Our cats all enjoy cage-free moments of freedom in the shelter and stay with us until we find THE right family for them.
